I think i should pay a visit to the dentist soon, been procrastinating for quite some time but the wisdom tooth is really growing out and my gum sort of hurts from time to time.
Anyway I wasted 30 mins solving some trigo question.
3cos(2x) - 2sin(2x) = 2^1/2
Seems easy rite? That's what I thought too, until i really got to solving it. I took the more obvious approach which is to use the double angle formula and tried to simplify it, got something quadratic equation involving sin^2 and cos^2 and tried factorising it but failed miserably. Took me some time to realise that i must use another method and still I only got 2 out of 4 of the answers...after much thinking i figured how to get ALL of the answer.
BUT the whole point is that that question is a Sec 3 question, are they trying to kill everyone taking O levels?
